El 11 de octubre será editado un disco tributo a los veteranos ZZ Top y para brindarles homenaje, se apuntaron una serie de músicos de calibre como Steven Tyler - a la cabeza de una súper banda junto a Mick Fleetwood, Jonny Lang y John McVie - Nickelback, Duff McKagan con su proyecto Loaded, Filter, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, los australianos Wolfmother, los metaleros Mastodon y Coheed and Cambria y dos personajes no necesariamente rockeros, como Wyclef Jean y el cantante country Jamey Johnson.
A Tribute From Friends revisará practicamente todas las épocas del afamado trio texano.
